Chef David Chaymol discovered his true calling at the age of 14, when his love and talent for cooking laid the foundation for a bright future filled with well-documented successes and achievements. He completed his specialized studies at the age of 20.

Comienzos

His professional profile demonstrates that from the beginning, David Chaymol has faced all kinds of challenges and turned them into opportunities that are now stories of success.

His first experience as a professional chef was at the Pullman Hotel restaurant in Lyon, France (the most coveted in Europe), where he worked for 2 years.

From there, he continued alongside Chef Jean-Paul Lacombe at Dos Macarrones, a Michelin Guide restaurant, where his skills and love for fine cuisine grew stronger.

He decided to travel to the island of Anguilla, where he became a Chef de Partie, along with 6 other professionals in haute cuisine at the Casablanca Hotel, for a year. It was also here that he joined the French company Star Dust, where he excelled as a private chef on sailboats.

Experiencia culinaria internacional

His next destination was Los Angeles, where he worked at a Mediterranean restaurant for a year and also joined L'Orangerie.

It was then that he decided to return to France to become part of Dos Macarrones, a Michelin Guide restaurant at the Casino Lyon Vert: La Rotonde, alongside Chef Philippe Gauvreau and under the influence of Jacques Maximin.

His experience as a yacht chef opened up new horizons for him, as he became a Chef on Yachts in the Caribbean, Cuba, Florida, Bahamas, Belize, and Turkey.

In the year 2000, he settled in Puerto Rico when he opened Bistro de Paris and served as co-owner for 14 years.

Nueva era

In 2015, his innovative vision led him to create the Chef Table concept at Nichë Bistro until 2020, when, due to the pandemic, he was forced to close the restaurant. This is where his new era of virtual cooking classes and private events began. As part of his professional efforts in collaboration with other chefs, he acquired scholarships for culinary school students. In addition to his proven mastery in the art of Haute Cuisine, our Chef David Chaymol has excelled as an educator in:

  • Les Petits et Les Grand Chefs - Television courses for children and adults. Since 2007.
  • Culinary – U / Cooking Classes via Facebook LIVE and Zoom. Since 2020.
